  • 26/09/2023

Heraklion, Crete, September 26, 2023 – The SUPREME Consortium met in the beautiful city of Heraklion, Crete, on September 26 and 27 for its General Meeting, to share and discuss the progress and innovation taking place within the project

The event was made possible through the gracious hosting of George Kiriakidis (PCN Materials) and Vassilios Binas (FORTH). Their warm welcome and the participation of all attendees contributed to the success of the general meeting.

One of the key highlights of the meeting was the collaborative work within SUPREME’s working groups. Participants engaged in a dedicated session on Stakeholder’s Map Validation, facilitated by Ana Barros (PNO). Their collective efforts exemplify the synergy of SUPREME’s diverse expertise and  the research and innovation-focused business intelligence platform Wheesbee took center stage in driving the IT aspects of the SUPREME project exploitation activities.

Moreover, the SUPREME team seized the opportunity to visit PCN Materials during their second consortium meeting in Heraklion, Crete. PCN Materials plays a pivotal role in developing bespoke nanoparticles and nanocoatings in collaboration with several partners. These nanocoatings will undergo testing in a wide range of high-traffic applications, including door handles, packaging, and textiles.

The SUPREME Consortium General Meeting not only advanced the project’s mission but also strengthened the collaborative spirit among partners. With such dedication and innovation, the SUPREME project is set to make a significant impact in the world of nanotechnology and beyond. Stay tuned for more exciting developments from this remarkable consortium.
